You won’t mistake it for the real thing, but it’s decently close — and given how exposed a west coast IPA is without alcohol, close is a real achievement. The style is all resinous hops over a bone-dry body, so there is nothing to disguise a thin finish. This gets most of the way there. Their Italian pils is the better bottle, but this one earns its place.
