Pretty good — a little thick-feeling in the mouth, though, and that’s what demotes it from favourite to runner-up. Everything else is right: the bubbles are fine, it isn’t overly sweet, and it looks the part in a flute. The texture is just slightly heavier than a blanc de blancs should be, and once noticed it’s hard to un-notice.
